Beach Volleyball

Alma and a group of school mates have been playing city league Beach Volleyball. They have a had a game every Tuesday evening. Their team name is "Eye Docs" and they are sponsored by a bar called Mother's Too. It was nice that they were able to find a sponsor because the fees are a couple hundred dollars. Kind of steep for once a week volleyball. They have a winning record and will be entering the playoffs in 2 weeks. Alma has been having a great time playing. I am glad because he needs some time to get outside and take a break from studying and clinic.
This is a picture of Alma serving, great form right?! And in the foreground is our good friend Dave, being funny as usual. Not only is it fun to go and watch them play, but it is a great place to people watch. They play at North Avenue Beach, where there are people enjoying the beach and the lake, people running and biking along the path, and generally people just trying to be seen.
